Carter County man arrested on charges of trafficking methamphetamine

CARTER COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) – A Carter County man has been arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

According to court documents, Eric Sarver, 35, faces a charge of aggravated trafficking in illegal drugs after he was allegedly found with more than 200 grams of methamphetamine on Sunday.

Sarver was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon after a rifle and handgun were allegedly found in his home, which he is not allowed to have because of a burglary conviction since 2007 in Hamilton, Ohio.

He faces life in prison if convicted.
