Schodack woman arrested on multiple charges, including burglary

State police arrested Jessmynda M. Dosch-Evangelista, 33, of Schodack on Dec. 10, 2024, on multiple charges, including burglary.

Troopers responded to a residence in Schodack around 2:17 p.m. after receiving reports of a burglary in progress.

Upon arrival, police say they found Dosch-Evangelista hiding in an outbuilding on the property and took her into custody.

Authorities said Dosch-Evangelista entered the home’s enclosed porch without permission and accessed the victim’s vehicle, taking items of clothing.

She allegedly tried to enter the home, causing damage before fleeing into the annex.

When taken into custody, Dosch-Evangelista was still in possession of the stolen clothing.

Dosch-Evangelista was arraigned at Schodack Town Court. She was then remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Institution without bond.
