Man dies after crash in Clarke County

CLARKE COUNTY, Miss. (WTOK) – According to Clarke County Hot Topics and Clarke County Sheriff Anthony Chancelor, Michael Harris was the victim of a reported crash in Pachuta Thursday evening.

The crash happened on Walnut Street, but Sheriff Chancellor says he believes Harris got out of the car and fell into a ditch with water in it.

They responded to a call about the car early Thursday morning. The man was pulled from the ditch and taken to a local hospital.

He was pronounced dead Thursday morning. No foul play was suspected.
